I got in to Chirstchurch not too long ago. I'm staying at a nice little bed and breakfast. I get my cold weather gear tomorrow, and should fly out Wednesday morning(it's Monday here now).
Apparently the weather has been pretty stormy in Antarctica so some of the flights are cancelled or they turn back part way into the trip. If we get the C-17's, I believe it's a 6 hour flight. Other planes are slower.
I'll try to get some pictures up soon, but right now the connection is slow and I don't know that I have a way of charging the battery for the laptop.
